if you were filming a live report and saw an infant sitting on a street about to get run over by a speeding car would you stop what you were doing to save it?

how much do you spend on portraits? where do you have them done? and for what occasions?
i pay a lot of money for my daughters pictures, i usually have them done at the mall. but after this last photography session i dont think we’ll be going back there. i decided to buy a professional studio backdrop and lighting kit for my brother, who is in college and has studied photography for 3 years, i would have had him do her portraits earlier but he never had the money to open a studio. he has a really expensive camera already. so i told him to open a portable portrait studio to make some extra money and so i could have her pics taken whenever i need to.
what would you consider a reasonable price for an in home professional photography session? and what would make you want to use a photographer instead of the 1 hour photo at the mall?

I care too much about others. My sister just recently turned 18 and is about 5 months pregnant. I have said nothing to her about it. I live at college. I am so angry and could punch someone. I know having a baby isn’t the end of the world, but she has never had a job, never had any responsibility. I don’t think I want to go back home I hate seeing people make idiotic mistakes.

my husband and i decided we would like to start trying soon. i would love to have a baby this year. i’m 22 yrs old and i read the healthiest babies are born to mothers 17-22. so i dont want to leave it too late. especially as my husband is a bit older. anyway he’s a nutritonist and he gave me a list of things to do, he wants me to do this for a whole six months even before we start trying….. lol
1. I can’t eat any junk food, which means no chocolate :’( Also fast food, red meat, table sugar, salt, coffee and alcohol are all off limits.
2. I’m only allowed to eat organic food and I have to eat 8+ servings of fruits & veges everyday and 3+ servings of fish every week….. (i *hate* fish)
3. I have to take folic acid , multi vitamin, fish oil supplements
4. I have to exercise 6 days a week. My husband also wants me to gain 10 lbs because I’m only 100, but with the diet & exercise…. how is that possible??
5. I have to “cut off” my friend who’s husband is a smoker. I’m literally not allowed to see in person until the baby is born.
6. I have to throw away all my makeup and skincare products (because of the “toxic chemicals”). I’m only supposed to use toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and a few other essentials.
7. we have to hire a cleaner to clean the house because I can’t touch cleaning products (chemicals again).
8. and a weird one: I’m not allowed to go to the gas station to fill up petrol in my car.. lol
ive just summarized it , the actual thing is pages!
Do you think this is a bit over the top? By the way my husband already has two grown perfectly healthy sons and I bet his ex wife never had to go through any of this…. :’(

Here is a timeline.
Its now 3am where I live, Friday morning
Wednesday, – Light headache all day
Internal exam, dialated 1cm
Wednesday night/Thursday morning – Awaken by headache a few times
Thursday – Woke with headache, progressed to severe migraine throughout the day
5pm – Menstrual like cramps started
10:30- Awoke from short nap with blood in undies and pants . (TMI, im sorry) Was watery, a pinkish-red and not too heavy, but enough to fill toilet paper when I wiped. It didnt seem to have a mucous to it. I dont think I have lost my plug prior, either. I have just been having very small amounts of white discharge, slimy, over past 2 weeks. Not a glob or anything. barely enough to notice when I wipe.
Called doctor, and she had me go to labor and delivery. They gave me tylenol 3 for migraine, and told me I was still dialated to 1cm. They say that the bleeding, may have been from internal exam yesterday, or my body starting labor. Sent me home at about 2am.
Current time, 3am, Friday
Got home and had some OJ. Had double-over pains in top of abs or lower stomach ( under the ribcage area on both sides). I had 22 hours of contractions last friday , that went from 5-6 mins, then to 25 then back down and so forth until they stopped. They never stayed consistent at 5-6. These were not the same type of pains. Also, at the same time, in my back , under my ribcage, hurt terribly while I was experiencing the stomach/ab pain. Are these contractions?
My question is what is your experience with any of this? Or opinion of what is going on? Was this my bloody show and should I expect labor soon?
I am scheduled for a c-section on Tues. If I go into labor before then , I will still be having a c-section, due to medical reasons.
The bleeding has almost stopped now. Very small tint when I use restroom now.

My son is 7 months this week and just said his first word this morning over and over again!

8 days ago my 7 y o border collie was dx with large aggressive inoperable brainstem tumor and takes 10 mg predsisone per day and i changed her diet from kibble to zero sugar zero carb all organic chicken eggs and veggies plus budwig flax and cottage cheese and she did really well she ate her dinner tonight well and her eye redness went away and she quit buckling her paw but her eyes are crosseyed all of the sudden this morning and now she wont get up even for water which she’s crazy for water usually and her eyes arent red still and no seizures or crying and her heart and breathing are normal and gums pink but still wont get up and im afraid shes dying the vet said he can’t do anything anyways so not to bring her in please help is my baby dying????? sorry bad typing can only use one hand

My two step daughters, ages 13 and 18, hang all over their Dad, has him cradle and carry them around like babies, reclines all hugged up together on the couch for sometimes an hour or more. Only on rare occassion, in 6 years, has he held me in his arms on the couch, in bed, etc. It’s usually a quick hug, if I ask him why he never holds me, or after a tiff. I am beyond creeped out by their level of physical contact. Is it normal, or do I need to be seriously concerned? He is 50 and I am 38! Thank you for your advice!
