IF you do not have an extended cab OR if the seats in the back of the extended cab are on the side facing toward each other, then yes. You need to turn the airbag OFF, push the seat as far back as it will go and make sure the car seat is in nice and tight. IF you do not have an airbag system where you can turn the airbag off, you need to contact the dealership and have them take the sensor out for the airbag. That airbag comes out at 240mph. That along with the force of the crash, will throw your child into the seat possibly seriously injurying the child or killing him/her.
It is NOT an ideal place for an infant to ride. IF there is another vehicle with a backseat to drive, take that vehicle. If there isn’t look into a new vehicle with a backseat. Having a child in the front seat increases their risk of injury dramatically versus being in the back seat.

Yes, assuming no rear seat available and an appropriate child restrain seat. Air bag for that side should be off if that setting is available.
