Do You Think Babies Sleep/nap More When They Are Going Through Growth Spurts?

My 11 month old seems to want to nap more and longer this week. I was just curious if he could be going through a growth spurt?

When they do go through growth spurts they do sleep a lot more, it wears their little bodies out.
