Does Anyone Have Any Recommendations For Ear Plugs For Babies?
I have an 18-month-old baby that is very sensitive to noise. We are flying next month and I’m concerned about the jet noise. Thanks!

Yeah, they don’t work. Seriously. You can barely keep a hat, shoes, and socks on a toddler. Ear plugs would be taken out as soon as you put them in. And then probably put into his mouth…LOL.
While he might not *like* noise, it certainly isn’t going to hurt him to be around it for a few minutes.
I can sympathise because my daughter was the same when she was little but I really wouldn’t bother with ear plugs. At 18 months she’ll just pull them out anyway. At the end of the day it will only be noisy getting on and off the plane and not while you’re on board. The noises surrounding us is something that she has to get used to and by “protecting” her ears it simply aggravates the situation by not giving her a chance. I do understand how difficult it can be to see her upset by loud or sudden noises but hang in there. She may never particularly like loud noises even when she gets older but she will get more accustomed to it.
I would suggest buying ear muffs as you would use in the winter time. You should probably start having her wear them now so she will be used to them by the time you need her to wear them…maybe make a game out of wearing them!! GOOD LUCK!!
