Girlfriend Can’t Have Babies But I Want To Have Some One Day?
I am completely head over heels in love with this woman, but she can’t have babies. We have moved on past the age difference (she is 14 years older than me), but I don’t know if I can move past the baby issue (she also struggles with the issue). I am scared I will not ever find the love I have with her if we go our separate ways.
This is a tough situation. The good thing about it though, is you can talk through it and discuss your options regarding possible adoption, or surrogacy. I realise this is costly, and hardly as intimate as producing your own child- however i know people who have adopted children because they were unable to have babies and they live as a happy family. There are always options, dont leave her based on this alone.. as true love is hard to come by. You may find someone who you can have a baby with, but you dont connect with- so you’ll end up being a single parent.
Depends on why she can’t have babies. Does she want them? If she does you can look into fertility treatments. If that is not an option you can talk about surrogates, donor eggs, adoption or fostering.
