Has Anyone Ever Taken Their Infant To A Chiropractor To Help For Constipation And Reflux?
Yes. My newborn had reflux really bad. The dr had him on zantac. He went 3 times. I feel like it worked because I took him off med and the reflux disappeared within a couple weeks. I can’t imagine he grew out of the reflux that fast. He was only a month, and it was pretty severe. He still spits up, but no painful sounds with it anymore. He’s 8 weeks now. His crying doesn’t sound painful anymore either.

I have never heard of that. Interesting. My baby has reflux so if that helped I’d try it. I have heard of people taking their baby to a chiropractor after birth to help realign the back. I think that is ridiculous. Why mess with a baby’s fragile back after something that God made to be completely natural and safe?
I saw someone do it on TV once and it scared the pee-pants off of me to see this guy turning this baby’s head and craziness. My baby is too jumpy and figity for all that.
I’m a certified massage therapist and I don’t really like the idea of chiropractic work. Of course that only my opinion…but I would do more research first. Ask your family doctor. Alot of my clients have constipation and reflux problems and I’m able to help them through massage.
No and personally I would not. Most people get “addicted” to chiropractors (at least a lot of people I know) and they end up going to them forever and the problem never seems to get better, I don’t trust them at all, especially with a baby!
