How Many Babies Do Yo Think My Rabbit Will Have?

OK so this is her second litter and im so EXCITED! Anyways, she had 5 last time but one died because it was the peanut. Is it true they have more babies the second time?

  1. yes, i would expect 5 or more. usually the do have more after the first litter, but thats not always the case… good luck to you though!!
    my rabbits first litter was 4. all found homes except the girl we kept. im hoping for at least 8 this time.

  2. Depends what breed of rabbits she is
    As the bigger she is, the more she can have.
    My rabbit that i breed is a Mini lop, her first litter she had 6
    second time she had 8
    ect
    So depending on the size of her, you can expect 1-8 babies as that is the average.
    Larger breeds can have up to 12

  3. It usually is the case that rabbits have more kittens the second time, but five is quite a few. You should expect a few more, but not many. Good Luck!

    I’d say to expect 5-8 or so.
    We just mated our two Mini Rex’s today. It’ll be her first litter. I’m hoping for some bunnies in about a month! =D
