How Valuable Are My Beanie Babies, And Teenie Beanie Babies?

I have a bunch I want to sell. The teenie beanie babies are 2000, and they’re the ones from mcdona’ds. The beanie babies are just ones I’ve collected over the years.

  1. Unfortunately, given the current economy and the much more popular WebKinz, beanies just aren’t worth that much anymore except for exceptionally rare ones.
I have been trying to sell my nieces’ collection of 300 of them which includes some moderately rare ones and the best offer I’ve gotten for the lot is $150.00. At a minimum retail of $5 each (some more) …well you do the math.

  2. Steps to determine the value of your Beanie Baby:
    1) Check the official Beanie Baby website to determine if the Beanie Baby that you are trying to sell is retired. This is important, as a retired Beanie Baby will be a lot more valuable than a more commonplace non-retired Beanie Baby
    2) Read Beanie Baby Collector Guides. These can be either found online, or at your local bookstore/hobbystore
    3) Research on the internet about your particluar Beanie Baby.
    4) Talk to knowledgable people to see if they can appraise your Beanie Babies value

  3. Beanie Babies really depreciated in value in recent years. I price TY Beanie Babies, Barbies, and marbles. I would be happy to send you a price guide for the ones that you have. The prices would be in U.S. Dollars as that’s the only market that I appraise in. The values range from 99 cents to hundreds of dollars depending on the Beanie Baby. Get in touch with me if you are interested in free prices for your collection.

  4. I’m glad you asked this question. They are worth about 50 cents each because they were never meant to be collector’s items. You have to have demand and scarcity for them to be valuable, and beanie babies don’t have either one.

  5. Depends how many you’ve got.
The proper beanie babies, you could probably get about £4-£5 each on eBay.
And if the Teenie Beanie Babies are still in the packet maybe £1-£2 but if they’re open, then not as much.

  6. Pretty much worthless. You missed the time when people were stupid and collected hundreds of them. Wait maybe 30 years and see if somebody is interested in buying sentimental 90s crap.
