Infant Winter Boots?

Where the heck can you find the smaller sizes? I have looked everywhere (even Ebay), and it seems like most places start at size 5 and up for real boots. My daughter has tiny little feet (size 2) and she is walking. I actually wouldn’t even bother getting any, but she is starting with a child minder and they are asking that she has a pair. I really don’t want to spend a lot, but I do want something that fits her, since she will be doing a bit of walking in them.
Thanks for any suggestions!

  1. payless shoe stores sell small sizes. here is their online site. this is the only place i have found cute black boots for my baby also size 2.http://www.payless.com/Catalog/SLCategor…

  2. try second hand clothes shop, it’s amazing what you can find there

    I can’t believe nobody mentioned zappos.com yet.

  4. I had this problem when trying to find infant dress shoes. I was looking for something specific, however after looking EVERYWHERE, (Babies R Us, Ebay, tons of baby boutiques online) for weeks, i found that Payless Shoe Source had the widest variety of baby shoes than anyone. They have a specific line called Teeny Toes. Try them. (If they are in Cananda..??) Good Luck!!
    Here is a link….. http://www.payless.com/Catalog/SLCategor…

  5. Try to find a place that sells real moccasins, they may have some mukluks, which are super comfortable and warm.
I was going to sew some for my son, but we just aren’t getting out much as I have a newborn.
(PS if you know someone that can sew I will try to find the infant mukluk pattern again. Then all you need is someones old fur coat, vest, heck even a hat might have enough. BTW I hate the feel of fur but you can put the fur on both sides facing in so it is leather towards the baby’s skin and towards the outside. Australians seem to make wool mukluks I don’t know much about those)

  6. I also have only seen boots starting at size 5.
My daughter’s feet are smaller than size 5, but I have put her in size 5 and she is managing just fine. She is walking in them well.
You could also try Robeez booties in say size 6-12 months, but I don’t think they are really meant for snow or rain. http://www.robeez.com/Booties-Robeez-bab…
Do you have a Once Upon a Child store in your area? It is a second hand store. They see everything. Try giving them a call.http://www.ouaccanada.ca/

These were the only boots I could find that weren’t ALL soft sole, but I couldnt find any hard sole shoes sorry.
