Isomil Advance 2 For Older Babies And Toddlers Is Comparable To What Other Formula?
I am unable to find Isomil Advance 2 formula in 12.9 oz cans for my niece who is on WIC. Does anyone know what other formula may be comparable that she can get script for that WIC will provide?

I didn’t even know WIC offered it for older infants. I asked, they said first year formula and milk from then on.
My WIC office said that if an infant (or child) needs something special they can NOT help. Not even a note from a ped will help. Only exception is ALLERGY to MILK PRODUCTS. The cover only certian things. I gues it WIC office to OFFICE. Anyways, I just feed my daughter heathy foods and I found Peds first vitamin (ages 2 and 3, my doc said she can have it , my daughter is 17 months old, and to watch her carefully or crush it). My daughter LOVES it and often asks for more (of course she doesn’t get more).
I don’t think Toddler Formula is worth it!
That would be Enfamil NEXT STEP LIPIL or the soy version Enfamil NEXT STEP ProSobee LIPIL.
But I also thought that WIC would not pay for that kind of formula…?
EDIT: JAYNE C – thanks for clarifying that. I was aware of the special circumstances for things like that on WIC but she didn’t specify it in her question.
WIC doesn’t pay for the 2nd stage formulas, since they are nothing but a marketing scam (at least that’s what my pediatrition says)
this is just to answer the people that think wic may not cover your formula. You didn’t say weather the child had any eating problems. My grandson is four and has an eating disorder and drinks pediasure witch is very expensive and they put that on my daughters wic checks. he doesnt get cereal, milk, cheese and eggs etc. was just trying to let everyone no they do cover different things if the child has an issue and of course you need a note from the pediatriation.
