  1. Whichever one was more trustworthy and responsible.
    Their sexual orientation or gender has nothing to do with their ability to babysit.

  2. My sis’ best friend is a lesbian and she and her partner babysit my nephews all the time. Additionally, my brother-in-law’s uncle is gay and he and his partner babysit the same nephews. I think it is wonderful that my nephews are loved by many different people–including this man hating lesbian feminist!

  3. If I have to pay them, I’d probably compare their relevant experience and pick the one whose price is reasonably linked to their experience.
    I wouldn’t have issues picking up either one of those, but coming to your main point — I do have some gay friends, and based on my experiences, IF I were to choose the girl, it wouldn’t be because the guy’s sexual orientation.

  4. I go with the first answer. It matters on who I trust. Usually, regardless of sexuality, I would look for a woman to watch my kids. I have girls and women tend to understand little girls better. Usually.
    However, not all women are good with kids. Some men are good with kids, regardless of sexuality.
    My third grade teacher was male. In his forties, he was still a bachelor. Lots of whispering there. Either way, he was good with kids.

  5. Kinda funny just had a friend of mine, who happens to also be lesbian offer to watch the newborn just the other day. Told her I’d take her up on it. She’s watched my older child before, and spoils the mess out of her, they always have a blast.
    Really dont think that gender nor sexual orientation has just to do with raising or watching kids. Nor do I believe the Voodoo hoodoo homosexuality will rub off junk.
    As far as picking between your two…I’d Be thrilled to have Two well qualified willing and good baby sitters…kinda hard to find people you trust like that. Having two would mean there was a good chance one of em would be available the nights I needed them.

  6. You will not get me on that one Trevor. Both my girlfriends and two gay friends have babysat my children. It never crossed my mind that they would not be good babysitters, they taught my son and my daughter how to make appetizers:) Which they proudly served to me after I came home. Mind you they were peanut butter on ritz crackers, but their tastes have changed since.

    What kind of people are they?
    Who likes children more?
    Who is more capable/available?
    Who do your children like me?
    Who has more experience with infants?
    ….literally….their sexuality would be the last thing on my mind.

  8. Either of them , it doest matter, id pick the one who likes children, and is good with children the most, and the one i can trust the most.

    This is why you shouldnt have kids – the gay guy might dress him up like a princess but the blonde might call over some guy and nail him right in front of the child. as a rule, people suck

  10. I’d have to pick the gay. Straight women sometimes like babies so much they go crazy and kidnap them. I’ve never heard of anybody from the gay community doing that.
