  1. I would say Mylicon gas drops but back in december there was a recall on them and i haven’t used them since im sure there fine now but id rather not take a chance because the ones i had were in fact the ones being recalled my son was fine though but i now only use little remedies little tummys gas relief drops!!

  2. I try to avoid drugs when I can, so try the following before you try gas drops. I never had to use the drops.
    1) While she is lying on her back, gently bicycle her legs, pushing one knee into her chest while holding the other out straight, switch back and forth. DO NOT force her legs to move if she is not cooperating–you could hurt her.
    2) While she is lying on her back, hold both feet together at the ankles and bring them to her head with legs straight. Release and repeat several times.
    3) While she is lying on her tummy, draw her knees beneath her so her fanny is higher than her head, and gently rub her lower back in a circular motion. You can also try this while she is lying on your lap. Just make sure your leg is against the soft part of her belly.
    4) While she is lying on her back, massage her belly, starting at the bellybutton in a counterclockwise motion moving outward.
    5) After you feed her next, sit her up in a semi-reclined position (30 to 45 degrees) for a few minutes, then burp her. The position will help the air bubbles rise to the surface so to speak.
    Good luck.

I don’t think that gas drops do anything for intestinal gas.
Is she breastfed or formula fed?
If it’s formula making her gassy then you might want to try switching to a gentle formula. If she is breastfed then she might be having a problem with any dairy in your diet.
Another thing to do is burp her frequently. If she swallows air and doesn’t burp it out then it will end up in her intestines and that won’t feel good to her.
Sometimes I burp my son even when he hasn’t eaten. Sucking on a pacifier can also cause a baby to swallow air, as can crying.

  4. I agree about the gas drops, but NOT Mylicon. They are arround $10 a box at my Wal-Mart, I found some generic at the pharmacy for $1.85. All it is is simethicone, there is no difference. Also, I found that when I peddled my sons legs and brought them to his chest it helped him a lot. I also used to rub his tummy or just put a little pressure on it with my hand, it always seemed to help. Good luck.

  5. my mother told me to 1st try warmed up Olive oil rub some in a circle round and round the the tummy and back. that’s the most natural way to do it. then if that doesn’t work then gas drops. wal mart brand is like 4 $’s cheaper and the same thing.

  6. Use the gas drops-but buy the off-brand from like Target or Wal-Mart, they are way less expensive. Also you could try bouncing her and placing her on her back and moving her legs like a bicycle (gently) to break some of the gas free.

Mylicon gas drops. I also have used a little sugar water. Both have worked on my boys.

  8. Mylicon usually works very well. Sometimes if the belly is blown up, gentle massage can help as well.

  9. Mylicon gas drops worked best for my kids.
