White and Yellow and Blue and Green can be for a boy or Girl.
the easiest and greatest Idea……drum roll please…… Gift cards. The mother will love this after the babyshower she will still need things and she can go out and buy whatever she still needs.
well if you dont know what the sex of the baby will be, it might be nice to get maybe some toys, or like a boppy, (helps the baby learn how to sit), or possible a frame for the baby, there was this really cute one i seen at jcpenny and it had in the middle a big frame for newborn, n around it, it had all the frames of the month up till it turned one, it was the cuties.
well goodluck.
You can buy yellow, light green or white onesies and undershirts and bibs because they are unisexed. Or you can put money in a beautiful card and put it in the wishing well.
I would go with things that will need for everyday living.
Baby bath, soaps, lotions, diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifires if they are using them, bibs, blankets, birp pads. That kind of stuff is so helpful to get a showers. You can get as much as you want and put it inside of a yellow basket, then you can wrap the basket with mesh and tie it off with a big bow at the top. Its very classy and so useful.
i dont know what you mean by wishing well, but you could get a baby grooming set (hairbrush, comb, nail clippers etc).
or you could a baby bath .. some baths come in yellow to keep away from the pink/blue thing..some also come with face towels, bath thermometers
for more expensive gifts, you could buy a baby monitor, a bottle warmer… or a baby walker for when the baby gets a bit older (many people dont buy for when the child gets older, when in fact most parents have already bought a lot of things for the newborn baby). You could buy a bottle steriliser
you could buy white or yellow bedlinen and blankets…
you could buy toy/mobiles for the pram/cot.
there are lots and lots of things to buy. good luck!
well that would depend on your price range. if you cant spend alot of money, new moms always need TONS of onesies which are unisex, if you want to spend a little more money, try a baby moniter or a diaper genie, something to that affect. If the mom is having a shower though, theres a good chance she’d registered at a baby store, like babies r us, baby depot, target or walmart, most of these places you can check registries online fairly quickly if you know the moms first and last name
if the parents registered someone, you could go there and get what they need. a good idea would be a diaper bag that’s not specific in color for a girl or boy, if you wanna just quick buy something.
Be Creative.
How about one of those baby books like, “Baby’s Firsts”, where parents record the first time the baby burps and stuff.
If the sex is unknown, a lot of the guests will be getting yellow. Enough is enough with the yellow! Be different.
The soon-to-be mom might be registered at a Toys R Us or buy-buy baby, so check online to see if there’s anything specific that she wants.
Your best bet is to go shopping, not really looking for something in particular, and you’ll see something that works for both baby boys and girls.
A diaper cake! They are an attractive way to gift diapers and add a decorative element to any baby shower. Mom-to-be will love it!http://diapercakewalk.com/catalog.php?ca…
Here are my favorite gender neutral diaper cakes! Enjoy the baby shower!
Photo frames!!! All moms love pictures and love to display them. Nothing better than to have a selection of frames to choose from to put your little angels picture in and have it accented! Any size can be used at some point so don’t worry about that.
This is just a smaller gift in addition to a bigger gift, right? That is what i am used to when the invite says “wishing well”.
if that’s the case, you could get:
A baby book
washcloths
diaper cream (Butt Paste)
pacifier
toys
knit hat
socks
baby shampoo
soap
bottles
anything…babies need a lot!!
depending on what’s in your budget or on their registry… there are many different outfits that can go either way. the safest result is a onesie, socks, or even some bottles if they happen to need them…. you can even ask them if they need carriers or anything like that.
You can get a unisex baby outfit, and don’t forget something for mommy! Last baby shower I went to, I got a white cotton baby outfit, and tie dyed it! It turned out SO adorable! I also got mommy an assortment of chocolates! She LOVED it! Tie-dye is perfect for baby girls or boys!http://familycrafts.about.com/cs/tiedye/…
(this website has directions for tie dying)
(dye can be found at any craft store)
Good Luck!!
P.S. Creative gifts are most appriciate!
You can actually buy any color of cothing because newborn clothes are very soft colored and you can buy anything such as baby toys teething rings for the future.help stock up on things like when the baby is a month or two jux don’t put to much thought into it and they’ll love whatever you get its thought not so much when they can use it.

buy a toy for age appropriate…books (cant go wrong with this one)…..or a gift card…
Diapers and wipes (go with the size up from newborn, same if you get clothing) you can never get to many diapers they will be used.

Get toys! There are great infant toys that help stimulate vision and brain function.

You could buy it a little baby jumper (PJ’s). Just buy it in a neutral color like yellow or red.

Something yellow is good, a gift card to Target or Toys R Us. I got a lot of yellow at my last baby shower.
that toy that plays music to make him/her sleep

A Wishing Well is a classier way of saying – We want money. So get a Savings bond or cash.
If they are registered, buy something from the registry. If they aren’t, buy neutral colored blankets, a Boppy with a neutral color.
Like loads of baby treats, nappys,a dummy, allsorts, it would really help the parents out.
Photo frames!!! All moms love pictures and love to display them. Nothing better than to have a selection of frames to choose from to put your little angels picture in and have it accented! Any size can be used at some point so don’t worry about that.
Just give cash or a gift card to the store with the baby registry. The wishing well is usually where people drop off the cash and cards.
I always buy a basket & fill it with things a baby needs.
