  1. Most children go on whole milk @ 1yr old. If the doctor suggests keeping him on formula, he should recomend what is the best one for the child.

  4. you dont need infant formula for a one year old usually you can switch to just regular milk as long as the doctor hasnt informed you other wise. and usually the doctor would only tell you other wise if your baby is allergic to milk or milk based formula

  5. You could call a doctor or an advice center to verify this, but at a year you should be switching to whole milk. I have three young boys and I know I couldn’t wait until their first birthday so I could stop buying formula.

    i started my baby on whole milk @ 11months she was on the emfamil next step @ 7months it really depends on your baby

  8. If your childs doctor recommende not going to whole milk & staying on formula similac step 2 (toddler, 1 year & up) is great!

  9. by the age of 1, your baby should mostly be eatting table foods, and at night should be the only time your baby wants milk, and that shouls be regular milk.

  10. Breastmilk. no holds barred. Ask LeLeche League for the research. Otherwise, Carnation has a comfort milk for easy digestion. Good luck.
