Are All Car Seats Compatible With Strollers?

I just bought a Safety 1st car seat is it going to be compatible with a baby trend jogger stroller? I am trying to figure out if all car seats can be paired up with any stroller??

I found that my son’s Greaco carseat matched with the Safety First strollers, but I don’t know if I would try it if it is a jogging stroller just incase you hit a bump or something. I wouldn’t mind just rolling him around the mall with it, but I definitely wouldn’t go jogging with it.

No, if you want the carseat/stroller combination, you need to buy them together. Even carseats and strollers of the same brand may not be compatible, much less different brands. And NEVER buy anything to go in the carseat (i.e. the head thingies) if it did not come WITH the carseat/made by the manufacturer.

No, generally speaking if you want your car seat to snap into place you need to have matching brands. With a jogging stroller it is very important that the car seat firmly latches if you plan to run with it. Your best bet is to check the side of the stroller box or call the stroller company for a full list of car seats that will attach, or use the stroller without the car seat once your baby is 6 months old.

  4. nope -leave the car seat in the car for safety reasons. move babe to the stroller, back pack, or arms with your hands. it’s more ergonomic & babe gets to be touched more often.
