Ideas For Little Boys Room?

my son is 9 months today and at the moment and sleeping in the nursery which is suitable for boy or girl. we are thinking of trying for another baby late this year, so I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to decorate his to be new room. when his brother or sister will be born, at a guess he will be around 26 months (a bit over 2) so will he still be sleeping in his cot bed or will he be in a proper bed with a safety guard?

  2. Very exciting! Here’s some themes he might like:
    trucks/cars
    dinosaurs
    sports
    super-heroes
    favorite cartoon
    favorite animals
    Colors:
    soft blues
    reds
    greens
    yellows
    Floor:
    I would suggest an area rug if the room isn’t carpeted for playtime.

How about a sea side theme…white whicker chair, white washed walls with colourful striped curtains, you can buy little wooden beach hut ornaments at notonthehighstreet.com & get some sea side themed transfer stickers such as is creams/sea gulls etc..for the walls from Homebase & maybe a treasure chest toy box with shelves with lots of toys etc..on. you can buy a seagull mobile. Use a blue carpet with a plain coloured rug to keep the room feeling warm & be inspired..you could even go & get some drift wood & use Hobby craft letters painted of your childs name to stick onto it for a personalised touch…& little wooden boats etc…!!! Congratulations to your baby being 9 months today!! Lucky to have you as a mum! Hope its successful!!

  4. try bright primary colours with lots of space for toys and teddy’s or you could divide the room one side pink for girl one side blue but dont do to much if u do on girl side so u can just paint ova it if its a boy good luck luv emma
