Allergies To Peaches?
Just wondering if any of you moms had your babies react poorly to peaches. I know it sounds weird, but the only new food I have introduced to DD was peaches yesterday and today (almost exactly 24 hrs later) she has a rash on her face. No itching, etc. (She didn’t like the peaches, btw)
Could it be the peaches? (I steamed and pureed an organic peach. My kitchen is very clean – up until now, we’ve never had a problem.)
It could be an allergy or sensitivity. When I was a girl I could eat canned peaches but fresh gave me an itchy mouth/throat. I would hold off on the peaches for now and maybe try again in a month or so.
It’s possible for babies to react to any new food. If the only new food is peaches, then it is probably the peaches. Either test it by giving her more and seeing if the rash worsens, or hold off on giving her peaches until she is much older (closer to a year).
Very well could be the peaches, it is definetly not uncommon for babies to be allergic.
Take her off of them, and try it again in a week. If it happens again, then she is allergic.

There is always that possibility to be sure you could always see an allergist or perhaps try them again in the next 72hrs. Good Luck but then again if she or he did not like them dont bother.
yea it possibly could be peaches some of my old friends were alergic to peaches
My daughter got rashes from it, so we stopped feeding it for a while.
