Ear Stretching With Scar Tissue?
My left ear is somewhere between a two and a four; I’m skeptical, because of all the differences in gauge charts from company to company.
It’s been at this size for several months, but I tore it badly earlier on in its stretching, and it developed a lot of scar tissue.
I’ve used hot compresses to try to loosen it up and baby oil to slick the steel tapers, but this thing just won’t budge!
I’m looking for some way to reduce scar tissue inside of the hole in my ear. Not only is it unattractive to look at without jewelry, and undoubtedly will be if I ever take them out to let them heal over, but it makes stretching that ear pretty much impossible.
Prom is only a few weeks away, and my grandma ordered special large-gauge earrings as a birthday gift for the event. They’re organic, and zeros, so I’m pretty pressured to find a way to get this one stretched and healed before the dance.
The other ear is a well-healed zero, and is as healthy as can be.

you might want to try massaging in tea tree oil every day it will help it heal and loosen up the scar tissue also soak your ear every day in warm salt water for about ten minutes.
other than that i don’t really know what you could do to reduce the scar tissue.
Also if you can’t push the taper in don’t try to force it you will only make the scarring worse if you split the skin again, or don’t let it heal.
here is a list of gauge sizes,http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/Gauge
hope it helps.
also if your ear is at a 4g do not try to go to a 0g especially with previously ripped ears, it shouldn’t be painful so be careful.
good luck
Well there’s really nothing much you can do.
The scar tissue is there so you can’t do anything about it.
The only thing you can do is try to put a 2g in to see what size you’re at.
I doubt both ears will be at 0g for the dance so don’t try to force the 0g’s in.
