I’ve heard moms and dads say to their infant daughters, “Hey lil’ momma.”
I’ve also heard baby boys been called “daddy.” I’m just honestly curious- where did those nicknames start?

Our son’s 9 months old, almost 10. He fell tonight in the kitchen(he’ll pull up on the cabinet and try to take a few steps on his own) which has tile flooring. He landed on his arm and let out this blood curdling scream. He really never does that when he falls. I mean,he’ll cry but not scream like he did tonight. So my boyfriend and I tried to calm him down. That didn’t really work. He was still crying 10 minutes later & his arm began to swell on the way to the ER(it was after his pediatricians office had closed—my boyfriend also tried to touch which only made our son scream again). The ER was busy, which I understand, but the doctor there didn’t even look my baby. She told us to go home & ice his arm. My boyfriend told her that his arm was swollen & hurting him & that he wanted it to be x-rayed. She told him that they were too busy to handle a “minor case” and that we should go home & ice his arm. If we still were concerned,we could take him to his doctor in the morning. He didn’t like that answer(neither did I but I was more concerned about my son who was still upset). He went back & forth with the doctor before I finally had to just tell him we should leave(didn’t want him to do anything that would get him in trouble).
We’re back at home now(a few minutes). I gave him some Infant Motrin & he’s sleeping now but when my boyfriend touches his arm even while sleep,he’ll…I guess you can call it a whimper(he’s done it once—I won’t let him do it again like he wants to). We’re just worrying about his arm being broken. He’d move it(when awake) but not much,by looking at it his arm looks normal. The second nearest hospital is about a 2.5 hour drive from where we live(if we call his doctor she’ll just tell us to go to the ER here).
Should we try to go there tonight or wait until his doctor opens(which is about at the same time we would get to the other hospital)?
And has this ever happened to you at a hospital/ER?

I’m asking all mommies because I’m sure some of you are cluttered with your children’s stuff.
I wanted to know if you’ve ever used those space saving bags you can suck the air out of. I really want to save all my son’s baby items and I think those bags are just what I need to save some space.
Have you ever used them, did they work for you?
I’d appreciate your answer.

So I googled the laws and everything about taking dogs to Mexico and found some info at: http://www.foreignborn.com/visas_imm/ent… But my question is has anyone ever taken their dog to Mexico? What do you have to do? My lil chihuhua girl, “Boloney” is my lil baby, I want to take her with me for the weekend. I need to know what to do. She’s so spoiled and little I can’t leave her at home and plus she’s really well behaved. My friends said they hid their puppy in their jackets when they crossed to and from and they never caught on. But I want to do this legally. She has all her shots but I don’t have record of them. Sooo…I think she’s just about due for another shot, maybe I can get her a vaccine then have the Vet give me some kind of documentation? Help!!!

I spoke to one of my sisters today and she told me that a Dr diagnosed her baby with tortocollis.
But my sister has other concerns… The tortocollis would explain her flat spot on her head and stiff upper muscles but would it explain her total lack of strength in her lower body?
She’s in physical therapy and my sister does not feel it’s helping.
She is not as delayed in her mental development than she is in her physical. But she is not laughing, she recently started to smile.
But physically, she is not rolling, not sitting up and keeps her legs drawn up to her body like a little frog and she is very small for her age. But she also has digestive problems so I think that’s why.
She also can not push with her legs and if you try to stand her up her legs collapse instantly.
My sister was worried my niece has autism and was looking that up. But she only has one autism symptom that really stands out.
She has no control over her body yet and will often flap her arms out of control or go to move her hand to her mouth but hit herself in the side of the face… She said she read that babies with autism will flap their arms about…
But this is what worries me.
We looked up cerebral palsy and she has basically every symptom.
Every symptom…. It even describes problems with swallowing and breathing and around Christmas time she was taken to the ER for strange breathing.
She has no muscle strength, tone or control and is delayed on milestones…
But how early is too early to diagnose it?
And also, is it possible it really is just the tortocollis causing all the problems? How long will tortocollis take to work out?

my husband and i decided we would like to start trying soon. i would love to have a baby this year. i’m 22 yrs old and i read the healthiest babies are born to mothers 17-22. so i dont want to leave it too late. especially as my husband is a bit older. anyway he’s a nutritonist and he gave me a list of things to do, he wants me to do this for a whole six months even before we start trying….. lol
1. I can’t eat any junk food, which means no chocolate :’( Also fast food, red meat, table sugar, salt, coffee and alcohol are all off limits.
2. I’m only allowed to eat organic food and I have to eat 8+ servings of fruits & veges everyday and 3+ servings of fish every week….. (i *hate* fish)
3. I have to take folic acid , multi vitamin, fish oil supplements
4. I have to exercise 6 days a week. My husband also wants me to gain 10 lbs because I’m only 100, but with the diet & exercise…. how is that possible??
5. I have to “cut off” my friend who’s husband is a smoker. I’m literally not allowed to see in person until the baby is born.
6. I have to throw away all my makeup and skincare products (because of the “toxic chemicals”). I’m only supposed to use toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and a few other essentials.
7. we have to hire a cleaner to clean the house because I can’t touch cleaning products (chemicals again).
8. and a weird one: I’m not allowed to go to the gas station to fill up petrol in my car.. lol
ive just summarized it , the actual thing is pages!
Do you think this is a bit over the top? By the way my husband already has two grown perfectly healthy sons and I bet his ex wife never had to go through any of this…. :’(

A bill is going through Congress right now which will end “anchor baby” citizenship. Will this bill restore sovereignty to America and end the continued destruction of our nation?http://www.numbersusa.com/content/news/m…
