I always thought baby showers were to celebrate the new bundle of joy – shouldn’t each and every baby be celebrated? I mean, we give birthday gifts to people each year – so why not baby gifts for babies welcoming?
just incase I need it. Can anyone give me their opinion on the different bradns and types of baby formula and what you like/dislike about them? Also-what is your opinion on giving them formula with lots of iron-it has to make their tummy hurt considering the iron prenatal pill hurts mine.

I made this for my sisters Baby Shower and have TONS of requests for it. I am looking to eventually make a home business out of specialty cakes, but am learning and starting out. I live in florida and was wondering how much you would pay or think I should charge for this cake? Also, have added links for my sons 2nd B-Day Luau cake and other sons 3rd B-Day Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cakes that I made. All from scratch, even the fondant and buttercream. How much for each in your opinion?

My husband and I just had our first child back in November and I am also a SAHM.
Every Christmas we go down to my Grandparents house on the 26 to exchange gifts and each year we gave gifts to My 2 grandparents 2 Aunts 2 Uncles and 6 cousins (3 spouses of those cousins and those cousins 2 kids) So a total of 17 people which does not include My Parents, my 2 siblings and my Mother in Law. . . . Thats who we give gifts to each year and who we get gifts from.
Well this year we cannot afford to give as much as we used too. I would like to cut it too My immediate family (siblings and parents) and My grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. . . But My dad says “well they give you gifts each year”. . . . With a New baby, and one income we don’t have the free spending means like we used too. What can I do?

i got one almost 6 years ago. i told my mom about it like a few weeks after i got it. she was not happy for me but wasn’t mad either.
i didn’t tell my dad i just let him see it the next summer when i was swimming (its on my shoulder blade). he was just like “so you got a tattoo?” in a not so happy way. and then said “its stupid”.
i got a second tattoo in mid january and i have been able to hide it until now cuz i’ve worn pants all the time. (its on the inside of my leg just about the ankle bone) well today it was 82 out and i wore pants cuz i didn’t want to tell them. and tomorrow its gonna be about 80 again. and sunday is easter and i’m wearing a sundress that goes just past my knees.
so obviously they are going to find out VERY SOON one way or another.
how do you think i should tell them?
just put shorts on tomorrow and wait to see if they say anything?
just say hey mom, dad, i have something to show you?
i’m 23 and i know its my body and i can do what ever i want. and its not like they are going to yell at me and they can’t really do anything about it but i just don’t want them to act all disappointed in me cuz i’m their “baby” and try to do no wrong.
i would hope that they take it beter than they did the first time cuz this time it really means something to me.

On our local news there was a story about some guys that posted a message on You Tube stating they had tainted jars of Gerber baby food with cyanide and rat poison. The news story said it was just a hoax. I visited the Gerber baby food website, but there wasn’t any information about it. Has anyone heard about this? Are you still using Gerber? I have several jars at home and I’m not sure if I should use them or not.
My fiance and I both have three attendants (1 Maid Of Honor, 1 Best Man, 2 bridesmaids, 2 groomsmen) and aren’t really sure what to get them for gifts. I am open to any suggestions everybody has. Thank you for your help!
My baby Amber is now 13 months old and Im afraid there may be something wrong. She will crawl all over the house. chews on everything. BUt she has never responded to her name. The Dr’s in Arizona said they did a hearing check when she was born, but we have to drive 4 hours to Pheonix to get it done now. She is teething real bad, which makes us feel that it is the bigest distraction with her learning anything. But she will watch TV like its going out of style. She loves Mickeys Clubhouse and WoW WoW Wubbzy. In fact she will try to look around you when she hears the TV. Im thinking I should just cut off all TV and see what that does. BUt I know she will start to get frustrated and start biting her fingers and. . . . Whats wrong? I thought at several months they start responding to there name. Maby if I were Mickey or wubbzy she would pay more attention to us. She is 13 months old now. Am I worring to much?
